Animal Crossing Roleplay Idea??

I've been mulling over an idea for an Animal Crossing roleplay that I wanted to float here?? Please let me know what you think!
The premise is that a bunch of animals purchase what they think are tickets for Tom Nook's island getaway package.. but they're actually tickets for Ron Croon's all-inclusive island escape. It's essentially the same, expect that Ron is an under-prepared scam artist with barely enough experience to start an island community.
The plot would revolve around basically making the best of this less-than-perfect scenario, and would echo a lot of themes in the Animal Crossing: New Horizons game. I imagine it being

Hi everyone!
I hope you are all managing well, given the unfortunate circumstances in the world. We are living through some immensely terrifying things right now and I really hope we all make it through this okay! My family is doing fine so far - none of us are ill and I am very privileged to be able to telecommute while this is all going on.
While I don't want to dwell too much on the ongoing pandemic, I wanted to make one important announcement that is related:the roleplay group I mentioned that I was working on - Honey-Of-Heaven (https://www.deviantart.com/honey-of-heaven) - is being put on hold.
